The Fasti is a poem written by Ovid and in English is called the ‘Book of Days’.  It explains the origins of the months and their associated deities and holidays. (Ancient Roman holidays, you won’t find Labor Day or St. Patrick’s Day listed.)

Fasti Poem in it’s entirety is here:- http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/8738

(The poem in it’s original Latin is also listed.)

Of course, like with Shakespeare, you haven’t properly read Ovid until you have read him in the original Klingon.
